Your transactions, documents, balances, projects, and accounting history physically live on your device. UniLedger doesn’t need to keep a central cloud copy of your finances for the app to work.
Your device holds the real data
Your financial records aren’t just cached locally while the “real” version sits somewhere in the cloud.
The copy on your device is the source of truth. Your accounting stays with you instead of depending on UniLedger’s infrastructure to store it.
Less sensitive data on someone else’s servers
Financial data can reveal almost everything about how you live and work: what you buy, what you earn, what you own, what you owe, and who you do business with.
These data don’t need to be stored on UniLedger servers. We believe they should be stored only with you.
Keeping it on your device reduces how much sensitive information you have to entrust to another company in the first place.
Back up without moving to the cloud
You can still protect your data by creating encrypted backups on another device you control.
Your financial records leave your device only for that purpose, and the backup remains encrypted.
